The Challenge

Sending a professional invoice as a freelancer or small agency means either paying for accounting software you don't need, or cobbling together templates in Word or Google Docs. The result is either an ongoing subscription for a simple task, or invoices that look inconsistent and unprofessional.

For international businesses, it's worse — you need multi-currency support, VAT calculations, and sometimes currency conversion within a single invoice. Most free tools don't handle any of that.

Our Approach

Phin runs entirely in the browser. Fill in your company details, add a client, build out sectioned line items with quantities, rates, and VAT — then export a clean PDF. Multi-currency support covers 40+ currencies, and the optional currency conversion feature lets you bill in one currency while showing converted amounts in another.

The web version requires no account and stores nothing. For repeat use, the Tauri-powered desktop app adds persistent client management, saved company profiles, recurring invoice schedules, and payment tracking — all stored locally on your machine.

The Result

A tool we built because we needed it. Every invoice Ca Phe Digital has sent since 2024 was generated with Phin. It handles the full range — from simple single-item invoices to multi-section documents with mixed currencies, discounts, and down payments.

The web version serves as a quick-use tool anyone can access. The desktop app is our daily driver for managing client relationships and tracking payments across projects.
